Health and Safety
At ABC Academy we want you to have peace of mind while your child is here. We sustain a safe environment throughout, from the entrance (where strict practices and entry requirements mean only authorized persons are admitted through 2 security doors), to the classroom, and also out on the playground, all while keeping a safe and healthy surroundings inside ABC as well. Having these high standards in place are here to give you the comfort that ABC Academy is here to protect your child while allowing them to learn and grow in a comfortable and enjoyable environment.
Our Eye In The Sky
With a system of 30 cameras throughout our school inside and out which is constantly monitored by our staff on a closed-circuit feed of what’s happening in classrooms, on the playground, and throughout the school. We pride ourselves on maintain a safe, secure school environment—and providing peace of mind to all our families.
All our teachers receive regular training in safety procedures, including emergency and evacuation situations, such as fire or earthquakes. Throughout the school, classrooms are equipped with emergency and evacuation supplies.
Healthy Food Practices
We work hard to ensure healthy food options for growing little ones at ABC Academy. Food is prepared on-premises, in our kitchen bring healthy meals and snacks to the children each and every day. Each teacher and staff supervises all meals and snack to ensure each child is eating with healthy with safety in mind.
ABC's Health and Wellness
At ABC Academy we want to keep our children and staff healthy at all times so we make sure everyone washes hands throughout the day, to prevent the spread of germs. All children are monitored for signs of illness and parents of unwell children are notified immediately, to help stop the spread of illness. Classrooms are always cleaned and disinfected with child-safe products on a regular schedule.
ABC's Toys & Equipment Standards
Continuous inspections ensure our indoor and outdoor equipment is always safe and ready to be enjoyed. Toys, furniture, and and anything associated with the building are checked rigorously for broken or loose parts, monitored for any sharp objects or choking hazards, and cleaned on a regular schedule.
